Wherever this lab is, this potent batch of acid is markedly :) From the painfully (the good way) Quincy-style funk rhythms of the DalichromE Mix to the surprisingly well-paced momentum of DalitonE Mix, both Mekic Funk cuts offer the expected orgasmically gliding acid basslines, AFX hard cuts with blooming layers of syncopated basslines, and a brilliant balance of wonky dissonance and rewardingly chiseled melodies. Polapan116 maintains much of the same sensibilities while following a more slow-burning/modulating groove. If the Mekic Funks are the acid fueled blackout-edged take-off and afterburner sequences, Polapan116 is the docking program, a welcome reprise-like closure to the 17 minutes of head bobbing acid prescription.
